I’m impressed by people who can shift immediately into voter-analysis mode. I’m still really upset and it’s hard to think about the situation in a clinical way. A once-sacred 20th century postwar American ideal has been aggressively rejected by voters in favor of god knows what.

Leftist third parties can contest *and win* local/state offices, and an organized long-term effort to do so could be valuable.

Green Party nominee Jill Stein has been working to recruit a Palestinian-American to be her running mate due to the community’s frustrations with Democrats' support for Israel during its war in Gaza.
Three potential candidates told NBC News Friday they had multiple conversations with Stein about the job.
A spokesperson for a third potential candidate, the Democratic mayor of Dearborn, Michigan, Abdullah Hammoud, confirmed Stein asked him if he was willing to be considered for the job — before realizing Hammoudis too young to be constitutionally eligible.
The candidates to be Stein’s running mate include @4noura, @aayoub, and @AmerZahr.

My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made.
