BREAKING: The Republican Party of Florida wants a judge to pull a Democratic TV ad about the Hope Florida grand jury report. It says airing the report's "content, gist, or import" is now a crime.
The lawsuit, filed at 11:36 p.m. Friday in Highlands County, targets the Florida Democratic Party, its three statewide candidates and 11 TV stations in Orlando and Tampa Bay.
The party also referred the stations to FDLE and prosecutors. One copy went to the statewide prosecutor, who works in AG James Uthmeier's office. Uthmeier is the candidate the ad targets.
What the lawsuit leaves out:
- The grand jury report has been public since Aug. 26.
- The appeals court ruling it relies on isn't final until Friday at the earliest.
- The U.S. Supreme Court struck down part of the same secrecy law in 1990.
Early voting starts Monday in many counties.

“It’s disappointing to see Florida politicize something that shouldn’t be political or remotely controversial.
No science standards can be complete without evolution.”

You stole $10M from sick kids.
MORE THAN $500 MILLION in fraud recovered.
I spent years going after fraudsters as Florida’s Attorney General. Now I’m bringing that same fight to the U.S. Senate.
If you steal from taxpayers, we will hold you accountable.

Representative @AOC says the polls had her down 35 points on her first Election Day. She won by organizing the people consultants wrote off as non-voters. That's our plan in Florida too. If you've been counted out, I'm counting on you. #AngieForFlorida

The Trump administration appears to have changed its AI chatbot so that it no longer debunks Trump lies.
Yesterday: It said Biden won the 2020 election and there's no indication of widespread fraud.
Today: Says it can't answer such questions.

Two divorces. Affair child. Settled sexual assault. Years of no belief. To faith under a hierarchy. Religion as a control mechanism, violence as a rite, masculinity as a disguise.

Hegseth is fooling himself into thinking he is a Christian.
His behavior reminds us of this Bible passage:
"These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." (Isaiah 29:13)
Therefore this spoiler alert is in order:

The military already has chaplains for every faith and none. Creating an office with a “direct line to the Secretary,” then justifying it with one specific psalm, isn’t religious liberty. It’s the government choosing a creed. Troops swear an oath to the Constitution, not Psalm 33.

The U.S. military serves the Constitution, not a church.
Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, atheist or anything else—Americans who meet the standards should be treated equally when they put on the uniform.
Religious freedom means protecting everyone’s faith. It does not mean the federal government gets to pick one, quote its scripture from the podium and treat everyone else as less American.
That isn’t religious liberty. It’s government-sponsored religion.

Creating a cabinet-level "Office of Religious Affairs" with a direct pipeline to the Secretary’s desk isn't just an erosion of the First Amendment—it’s the official creation of a Pentagon Chaplaincy Gestapo
Hegseth is turning the U.S. military into a theological crusade. It tears up the First Amendment and replaces constitutional duty with dogma.
He is a religious freak show.

Before calling someone a “dirtbag,” the Senator should have had his facts straight. An apology is in order.
Glad one of us knew the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes!
Again asking for help from @PayPal @AskPayPal just like your own AI on your own website has told me to do
Apparently to get any help from @PayPal @AskPayPal you have to reach out to them on social media now. As I was told to do so by their AI assistant. What is happening? Can I get some help from a person please?

Rep. Joyce Beatty on her Kennedy Center call with President Trump today: "I think it would be unthinkable for someone to hear a president using the language that he used. He threw a tantrum. It was like an immature child. I wouldn't even want to put this on a child."

Donald Trump already has done massive harm to the Kennedy Center. Artists have canceled and audiences have stayed home. Last fall, more than 43% of seats went unsold, compared to 7% the year before. The National Symphony Orchestra and the Washington National Opera found other stages.
Trump has been treating it like one of his hotels, while disregarding the law.
The reality is Congress already committed $257 million in taxpayer money to fix the building. That money belongs to the American people, and so does the Kennedy Center.
