Why Bengaluru international airport haven’t mandated mandatory verbal and written Kannada skills for its managers ? BIAL has lot to answer our questions.

If TN protects interests of its people, it is self respect, resistance and should not be trivialised If Karnataka does the same, it becomes patrolling, creating fear and resentment Are people always this way or they need to take special classes?
No genuine concern can be addressed through this kind of patrolling. All it will do is create fear and resentment. Engage with the government and policymakers on effective laws to safeguard employment opportunities for locals. Don’t turn this into a battle against migrants who are only trying to earn a living…..

We have data only from 2008 when Albert Brunner was CEO of BIAL:- Around the airport’s opening (data as of 31 March 2008, under CEO Albert Brunner): 53% of BIAL’s own staff were Kannadigas (out of 473 employees). 40% of managers were Kannadigas (74 out of 185). Concessionaire staff: roughly 80% Kannadigas (of about 2,750 recruits). After Malayali Hari Marar has taken over BIAL, no such data has been published till today . Is that correct ? If yes, Why ? 1. What is the guarantee that there is no biased hiring or any unfair hiring practices? 2. What is the guarantee that Kannadigas are not discriminated in hiring ? 3. Why BIAL has become so opaque despite GOK having significant stake in it ? Where is transperency? @CMofKarnataka @MBPatil @karave_KRV ( data from grok)

Share the numbers and disclose how many hold top positions. Having the top three people at BIAL from a single linguistic community, with Kannadigas having no representation, is discriminatory and raises serious concerns about nepotism. Kannadigas should occupy leadership positions through a fair and transparent recruitment process, which appears to be non-existent, or through affirmative action and quotas where necessary.

Go to any function, casual talk on road common topics includes Modi, if a parent boast about their kids, if grand parents then boast about grand kids as special. I don't know if this is a trend, earlier it wasn't there. Society should recognise, praise kids not self praising. 🙆

Over 90% of staff in @BLRAirport being mallu isn’t an unfair nepotistic hiring practice? 90% of those jobs should go to locals of Karnataka not mallus! If you were a native of Karnataka you’d be raising your voice to this but since you ain’t you’re trying to diverge.
The only reason I digress any such conversations with these hooligans is because of the blatant casteism. For the record, im a native kannadiga who believes that if you want to actually develop and let a language flourish, you don't do it by demanding private sector reservations or destroying signboards. You invest in art, literature, and other media through which the language is developed. It is at this idealogical disagreement, anonymous Holatagaaras can't see beyond my name.

This problem is serious - Its a known fact that Kannadigas are denied employment by the HR cartels in each of these software companies. Nothing wrong in demanding jobs for Kannadigas and actually its rightfully theirs.
#BrassTacks: Kannadiga Jobs Debate: Local Rights vs Corporate Hiring Freedom A lot of employees have told us how discriminatory the hiring policies are. For you, this may be about money, but for us, it is our motherland that matters. If Kannadigas are denied job opportunities in their own homeland, there will inevitably be a reaction : @SajithGowda – Activist, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike The government has asked organisations to provide the necessary data and ensure that the interests of Kannadigas are given paramount importance: @SyedAslam778 – Political Analyst #Karnataka #KannadigaJobs #Bengaluru #ITSector #KannadaActivists #DKShivakumar #PrivateSectorJobs| @nabilajamal_

Most of these regional nepotism deals in hiring are being done by local non Kannadiga managers. These are the ones not hiring Kannadigas. The global management team would not be aware of this discrimination. Kannada activists should communicate about this hiring issue to the global HQ of the MNCS which have huge GCCs in Karnataka. Start escalating. @karave_KRV @narayanagowdru @ajavgal @SajithGowda
MNCs, especially US and Europe based companies, take diversity and inclusion very seriously. They also take fair hiring policies and practices very seriously. In all likelihood, the leadership located in the west is unaware of the preferential and discriminatory practices in India. KRV is doing an excellent job by bringing this issue to the front. Exposing bad practices is the first step towards fixing them. The companies will be thankful and will appreciate it. Yes, it will affect India's reputation, but it is not because of KRV folks visiting corporate offices and having a peaceful conversation. It is because of the fact that we have normalized discriminatory practices at the work place and now the world is getting to know that. And @Akshita_N, I would suggest checking a dictionary (or at least use chatgpt) and look up 'moral policing'.
