Hey #KOT #KOX #KenyansOnX #KenyansOnTwitter , I made this chrome extension that changes the president's name to one of his nicknames. To me, it's a form of protest, a reminder that he really isn't who he sold himself to be. Try it out here: chromewebstore.google.com/deβ¦

Look at him,an utterly vile piece of work. A greedy, ruthless pig of a human with no morals, no conscience, and not an ounce of empathy. Cares for nothing and no one beyond his own deranged, arrogant ideas, and heβd sell his own mother for cents just to feed his ego.

People like to say βGod of Bien locate me, God of Larry Madowo...β But Bien and Larry Madowo are qualified for the positions they hold and deserve the fruits of their labour. The person you need to be praying to is the God of Karen Nyamu. Whoever that is, theyβre working MIRACLES

Madame Karen (your name doesn't get more ironic)
I've written an academic chapter where I've cited you, specifically, as a politician who takes the level of stupidity in Kenyan public discourse a notch higher.
I'm thinking of sending you a signed copy of the book when it comes out. You deserve it for making history.
Karen Nyamu: I recently tried to help a very staunch campaigner of mine join the police force. Tukakarabati (we forged) a form 4 certificate.
She went to Kiganjo for training, but after investigations, she was arrested for forgery alongside 17 others.

You guys know Ruto the way you know him.
Me? I know him as the politician who had 12 year old me sleeping in a bush, because at any moment, the house could be burned by people who assumed we were inside.
We all knew not to go into any building because we could get burned inside

This interview of @AloikinOpoloje has rubbed the sycophants the wrong way. Apparently they did her a favor and released her thinking she will be remorseful. Now the threats are in high gear. I am featured in those threats so many times as the person influencing her. And they add that those influencing us like @kizzabesigye1 and @HEBobiwine already became rich or some nonsense like that. As if Praise has no agency of her own, has no eyes to see the gross human rights violations that she is calling out, as if, like them, she has no brain to tell right from wrong! We will name names soon. youtu.be/M26250Fw46E

The bill (Elections Amendment No. 2, passed by the Senate in 2024) drops the IEBC's legal duty to livestream polling station results.
β
Supporters/IEBC say: Form 34A is the official record, not the livestream. Partial figures on a live feed can be mistaken for final results. It also removes wording the High Court struck down in 2018.
β
Still in the bill: polling station results stay final, results are sent electronically within 2 hours, IEBC must verify them, and forms go on a public portal. Media and observers can still broadcast.
β Critics say: the livestream was created after the 2007-08 violence so people could compare polling station numbers with the final tally. In 2022 the justice committee rejected the same IEBC idea. The court never ordered the livestream removed. The bill doesn't say how fast every form must go online.
β οΈ Also in the bill: MP recall needs 1/3 of voters in every ward. The 700 vs 1,000 voter cap is still disputed. It's not final yet, so don't spread it as don
