A cycling race organised by the group Zoravan was held at Sinhagad Fort on Sunday, with 28 cyclists from nine countries participating. The event has sparked concerns among Shiv devotees and heritage enthusiasts, who say cycling on the historic fort without permission could put its heritage value and visitors’ safety at risk.
The Archaeology Department reportedly said it had not granted permission for the event and indicated that action would be taken against the organisers. The race also raised safety concerns as the fort was crowded with tourists and cyclists were reportedly riding at high speeds. Location - Kondapalli, NTR district.
I asked my maid today whom would she vote. She said in 2024 elections people said if TDP comes to power prices will decrease, but today the person kilo fine rice price is Rs 80, a 25 kgs bag is between 1900-2000.
The rice is ration shop is of not a good quality.
She asked how is this govt better than previous one. I explained development programs but at the end of the day, the impact is on the food they eat daily. This impact will reflect on votes.
As far as my understanding goes, the impact of less rains should be seen in the market from November or December. This should have been monitored and controlled. Even I purchased the rice for Rs 80, which was Rs 65 in September.
