#MarutiSuzuki has placed immense importance in the Hon'ble Prime Minister's clarion call for austerity as well as the need to mitigate the long-term impact of the West Asia war. The Company strongly feels whether it is during a crisis or business as usual, management should conduct business in the most productive and efficient manner, minimizing the use of petroleum products and foreign currency expenditure. This is a timely opportunity to revisit and re-examine all our processes and make efforts to improve efficiency across all our business operations, whether it is for national objectives or our own health of business. Accordingly, #MarutiSuzuki management has given a message to all people to institutionalize the following measures. These are being widely communicated to both internal employees and business partners. @PMOIndia @narendramodi @MoRTH @nitingadkari @MHI_GoI @hd_kumaraswamy @DoC_GoI @PiyushGoyal @MyGovIndia @HardeepSPuri @PetroleumMin

. @Maruti_Corp held its vendor conference in New Delhi on May 21, where Chairman RC Bhargava stressed the need for businesses to operate more efficiently while conserving foreign products and foreign exchange. Drawing parallels with the #COVID period, Bhargava said companies had then innovated and adapted operations to manage businesses at lower costs, and emphasized that a similar approach is needed again - with a sharper focus on efficiency and reducing dependence on imports. 'Such efforts would not only support broader national objectives, but could also help companies improve profitability'

Hon’ble @PMOIndia Shri @narendramodi today commemorated two historic firsts: Start of Production of Maruti Suzuki’s first Battery Electric Vehicle, e VITARA, for sales in over 100 countries, at Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of #MarutiSuzuki and Suzuki’s first Lithium-ion battery cell & electrode manufacturing in India for strong hybrid electric vehicle at TDS Lithium-Ion Battery Gujarat Private Limited, Maruti Suzuki’s fellow subsidiary. These milestones mark a significant step forward in Suzuki’s commitment to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives. Hon’ble @CMOGuj Shri @Bhupendrapbjp and @JapanAmbIndia H.E. Mr. Keiichi Ono graced the event. Maruti Suzuki’s e VITARA is slated to be the largest mass-produced and exported electric vehicle from India. The e VITARA combines Suzuki’s technology with India’s manufacturing prowess, in true spirit of Make in India; Make for the World. The e VITARA is built on a freshly designed EV-only platform and is not an IC engine vehicle converted to EV as the latter involves several design compromises. TDS Lithium-ion Battery Gujarat Private Limited has become the first company in India to achieve electrode level localization of lithium-ion battery cells, making India self-reliant in battery manufacturing for hybrid electric vehicles. This electrode level localization is one step towards increasing proliferation of Hybrid Electric Vehicles in the country. These lithium-ion batteries go into the hybrid system of the popular SUV model, the Grand Vitara. #MakeinIndia #AatmanirbharBharat #eVITARA #Suzuki #MarutiSuzuki #GreenMobility #Sustainability @NamoApp @MHI_GoI @hd_kumaraswamy @DoC_GoI @PiyushGoyal @mygovindia

Congratulations to Maruti Suzuki India for achieving a 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bharat NCAP rating for the All-New Dzire — a proud milestone for Made-in-India cars. It's heartening to witness mainstream models setting new benchmarks in vehicle safety. Encouraging too is the brand’s swift adoption of advanced active and passive safety features, including 6 airbags across its lineup. With #BharatNCAP, we aim to raise public awareness on vehicular safety, enabling customers to make informed decisions and prioritize safety while purchasing vehicles. 🚗 This marks a significant stride toward a safer and more responsible mobility ecosystem in India. @Maruti_Corp
