After many, many years of presuming good faith, I’m finding myself increasingly drawn to a Konmari curation policy: if the prospect of further interaction with a commentator does not spark joy, regardless of whether they are benign intent, block/mute and move on with life.
Tim Cook is a Chairman of the very same Advisory Board of Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management since 2019.
Tsinghua is one of 31 centrally managed universities whose president and party secretary are vice-ministerial (副部长级), not ministerial/provincial-governor level.

Fact check me:
Jensen is a Member (委员) of the Advisory Board (Advisory Committee) of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management
Body, the business school under Tsinghua.
Not on the Board for Tsinghua University.

He's already learning 🥹
1. The counterargument that deliveries can't be pushed back by a year or two just because the two sides worked together from design through validation becomes meaningless once the demand decline is real.
2. Even if they were involved from the design stage, I don't think we have reached the kind of extreme customization seen in foundry, where Micron couldn't do what Samsung was doing.
3. Joint design also constrains which HBM gets used, but I don't think it settles who carries the inventory burden when accelerator demand misses. Say the production plan is cut from 1 million units to 800,000. Is the customer obligated to take the 200,000 units' worth, or can the memory makers simply push that volume onto them? That needs to be clear.
The claim that memory has completely shed its commodity character is, in my view, the most dangerous one. There are still more players than in foundry, where TSMC dominates, and they can substitute for one another.

I don't have skin in this game but what you're asking seems genuine and not concern trolling. Some of the responses you've been getting do not smell right to me.

Would you get a MaixStation or a MaixBlade?
"Same bandwidth, only 256 TOPS. How can #MaixStation beat DGX Spark's 1,000 TOPS?"
Pure-compute CNN test, INT8: "1000T" DGX Spark runs at about half the FPS of the "256T" AX8860.Even 18 TOPS AX8850N hits half of DGX!
Marketing #TOPS. 🤡 Don't be fooled
